I need to escape from anger, accusations, hatred, negativity, pointing of fingers, ugliness..

I need to escape to peace, joy, happiness, kindness, positivity, holding of hands, beauty.

Both sides keep banging their heads like two battering rams, and the noise is deafening.

Both sides feel misunderstood, and neither side is listening to the other.

Social media is filled with rants from the left and rants from the right clashing like armies from two different kingdoms.

I need an escape.

So, to my bench to disappear into my work. To my bench to drown myself in creativity. To my bench to surround myself with productivity. To my bench to behold beauty.

In my small little world I can escape into a pile of silver medallions that shine in the light and reveal sophistication and elegance, while in the big world I live I see very little of either.
