Hello Dicembre

After a long summer of painting in the hot sun and desperately missing jewelry design, I finally made it back into the studio and was able to create this simple, yet stunning necklace. I completed the project just before Christmas and as providence would have it, someone snatched up the first one just in time to surprise his special someone with an unexpected gift.

This pendant was created in my studio using silver metal clay which was fired, leaving behind .999 fine silver. I inserted a white cubic zirconia crystal in the center to give it just a little bit of sparkel and the figure 8, argentium silver chain is elegant and delicate. I love using argentium silver because it retains its luster much better than sterling with the same level of durability.

I can still picture the look on Deb's face as she opened her box and found her necklace inside. There was that twinkle in her eyes as her smile got bigger and her face was shining with joy and delight. What better reaction could a husband ask for?

I'm about a month away from the launch date for my new Textures Collection and I am anxious to begin stocking these simply lovely necklaces in my store!
